Two LIYI 1500 kVA container units now supply prime power for drilling and camp loads at a copper mine in Haut-Katanga.
LIYI engineers recently completed commissioning of a 1.2 MW containerised power plant at a copper mining site in Haut-Katanga, DRC.
- Two LY-1500C container units in automatic parallel operation
- 20 ft ISO containers with sound attenuation and full weather protection
- ComAp InteliGen synchronising control with remote monitoring
- Commissioned in 9 days, including on-site training for local operators
"This project shows what matters most to African customers: fast delivery, fuel economy and service support that actually shows up," said the project manager. Spare parts for both units are stocked at a regional warehouse.
